1. Chinese paper 1 sucked.
I did questions 2 and 3, which were 私函 and narrative. Which sucked. I feel damn stupid cos I spent the whole night yesterday memorizing the 公函 format and all the information you have to write in a 公函. Well, I only covered 请求 and 邀请, but those were the only two the teacher covered. And so when I saw the question and I saw that it was 表扬, i was like wtf and I had to write 私函. I could have spent yesterday night studying other subjects. Oh wth. And as for the narrative, I think I wrote totally out of point. It was something about I realising that the society wasn't as cold as I thought it out to be. And guess what I wrote? I wrote about my witnessing a car accident. Would you believe it? Ha Ha Ha. It's so hilarious, isn't it.
2. Chinese paper 2 sucked even more.
I can do the papers we get for daily practice in 45 minutes if I really put my heart in it. Today, I was given 2 hours and I couldn't even complete. OMG what's so wrong with me! I left 3 questions blank and they added up to 12 marks. I can forget about passing, I guess. Unless I get like 20/20 for my summary writing, which is like impossible. And I couldn't understand 3 out of 4 comprehension passages. So basically all my answers were EXACT copying and pasting. And today, I found out that summary is 20 marks. HAHAHA. I never knew it had such a high percentage. Thank God I completed it. (:
3. The exam room was super cold.
It was really hot at the start of the first paper, and I was thinking oh good, at least I won't be freezing while doing my paper. After I completed 私函 I was practically freezing in the room. It was that cold that my teeth were chattering after the paper.
4. The exam room stank of paint.
The school re-painted the classrooms during the June holidays, and the whole room was filled with the smell of paint. No one in class brought deo, and everyone had to take the exam with the smell of paint.
5. My fingers were numb from the coldness and the writing.
After paper 1, which was 5 pages handwritten, my hand was numb from the coldness of the room and the writing. I thought that the washing of my hands during the break would ease the numbness and I would be able to write properly for paper 2, but no. even my numbers looked weird and somewhat disfigured.
6. I had a very fattening lunch.
I ate lunch with Vanessa, Jingyi, Leyan and Gloria at the hawker centre. Beef fried rice + lime juice was super fattening.
7. I'm having a headache now.
I've been having a headache since I came home from lunch. It sucks. And I have LA tomorrow. And humanities the day after. As well as math. Oh screw JCTs. I can just plan to fail now. Getting GPA of 2.0 would be nice. (:
8. I still can't get YOU out of my mind
I know this has nothing to do with today. But somehow, after seeing you in person today during assembly for the first time after almost a month, something in me just got revived. I really don't know. And I just can't get that feeling out of me. I'm supposed to be over you, aren't I? But yet why is it that the sight of you is enough to make me fall for you again? Yesterday night, before falling asleep, I was deleting my daily three sms-es, and I just couldn't bring myself to delete any. I settled for only deleting 1 in the end, and I broke down after that. Not because I deleted that sms, but because I realised how far apart we've grown since term 1 till now. Time will never turn back for me. You're somewhat my new motivation to study for my remaining papers, as well as the reason that keeps me from studying.
I resolve to start studying LA at 3.15PM.
